Start here

Set up your account and herd

Create your operation, choose the active herd, add basic settings, then start from the dashboard.

  1. Create or finish account setup from Welcome.
  2. Add at least one herd and make sure the correct herd is active in the account menu.
  3. Use Settings to confirm timezone, weight units, address, and notification preferences.
Review work

Use the Review Center

Pasturize keeps uploads, audio, imports, and uncertain records in review before records are changed.

  1. Open Review Center to see the next item that needs attention.
  2. Use Review another item first when you need to update a different record before finishing the current review.
  3. Apply only after the proposed rows match what happened.
Records

Upload documents, photos, typed notes, or pasted records

Use Records as the main place to bring in source data and keep it tied to what Pasturize extracted.

  1. Open Records or Upload data.
  2. Paste text, take a photo, upload a file, or type notes.
  3. Review the extracted rows before applying them to livestock or document history.
Livestock

Find and update animal profiles

The Livestock list is the line-item cattle table. Profiles show weights, notes, breeding, photos, and source history.

  1. Search by tag, EID, RFID, name, dam, sire, or notes.
  2. Open an animal profile from the tag or profile button.
  3. Use profile actions for notes, weights, treatments, measurements, photos, and corrections.
Audio

Record cattle working sessions

Record chute work, pasture notes, roll calls, treatments, calving, sales, and exceptions from the field.

  1. Open Livestock working sessions or the audio upload shortcut.
  2. Record or upload the audio and leave the tab open until upload confirms.
  3. Review each extracted card, fix uncertain IDs, and apply only the rows you want saved.
Audio

Handle unidentified roll-call animals

Unreadable or unidentified animals should stay attached to the roll call until they are removed or resolved.

  1. On the review card, choose Remove this unidentified animal if it should not count.
  2. If you leave the card and apply the rest, Pasturize keeps it in that roll call as unidentified.
  3. On the Roll calls screen, resolve it to an existing animal later or remove it from the roll call.
Locations

Manage fences, lots, and roll calls

Locations let Pasturize understand where animals are supposed to be and compare roll calls against that fence list.

  1. Create fences, lots, barns, or pastures from Locations.
  2. Use move or location updates to keep animals assigned to the right place.
  3. Open Roll calls to compare found, not found, and unidentified animals.
Photos and BCS

Attach animal photos and review body condition scores

Photos can be linked to profiles. BCS reviews stay pending until a user accepts or edits the score.

  1. Upload a photo and link it by cattle ID, EID, or RFID.
  2. Open BCS review items when photos are scored.
  3. Accept or correct the score before it appears as reviewed profile information.
Imports

Import herd data and learn from corrections

Use import preview to check columns, duplicates, and proposed changes before herd records are created or updated.

  1. Open Import from the Livestock area.
  2. Review column meanings and row warnings before applying.
  3. Use Import learning and Teach Pasturize for recurring farm-specific corrections.
Reports

Use reports and document search

Reports and document search summarize reviewed data only, so unresolved drafts do not silently change results.

  1. Open Herd reports for cattle summaries.
  2. Use Document search for reviewed documents, tickets, vendors, notes, and saved filters.
  3. Export data from Settings when you need a copy of your account data.
Settings

Change preferences, vocabulary, and safety defaults

Settings controls account preferences, data tools, import learning, backups, and audio vocabulary.

  1. Set timezone, units, landing page, and notification preferences.
  2. Open Audio vocabulary to teach product names, aliases, and ID rules.
  3. Use backups and account export before large cleanup or import work.
Troubleshooting

When something looks wrong

Use feedback and issue reports when an extraction, review row, or page behavior does not match what happened.

  1. Do not apply a row that looks wrong unless you are intentionally saving it.
  2. Use missed details or review corrections when available on the page.
  3. Send feedback or report an issue with the page URL and what you expected.
